Basically, I was updating my WordPress installation and a file was corrupted along the way. I was intimidated by a long list of possible causes that the help pages suggested but it turned out all I had to do was change a setting number from 610 to 710!
I am always frustrated at my ability to put off what turn out to be astoundingly simple tasks. If procrastination makes it to the 2012 Olympics, I’m your man.
