In a bit of a damp squib of an election campaign, I can think of only two highlights for me:
The first was when I realised just how indoctrinated my five year old is when we drove into Edinburgh the other day. All the way, she cheered the SNP posters and booed the Tory ones.
I have also enjoyed the reports today of the lengths to which Blair and Brown will go to appear as if they don’t hate each other. While campaigning in London, Mr Blair bought the Chancellor an ice cream. Brown then retaliated by buying a 95p breakfast at Ikea for the Prime Minister. I wonder if they will both claim their gifts on expenses ?
