Written by Tragically, I had to work last night so couldn’t watch the Scotland v France game on TV. However, this meant I was in the car to hear Willie Miller opining that he would love the game to slow down and be “boring” so Scotland could snatch a nil nil result. Just as he finished the word “boring”, all hell broke loose as McFadden scored his screamer. I don’t think he spoke again for ten minutes.
Apparently, I also missed Chick Young saying he didn’t know the French for cliche at some point during the commentary.
